today, im gonna write quite a long entry about the nursing home somewhere at tampines im attached to.
Day 1.
we reached the nursing home quite early even though we got ourselves lost. we were ordered to place our stuffs on the sofas(mind you, they did not share their lockers which were empty!), and to sign in into a log book.
after these, we were ordered to sit around a table for some briefing. then, this guy, Steven, he gave us brochures and pamphlets.
he asked, " please tell me about Alzhemier's."
we all hesitated before answering, trying hard to think of an answer for him. instead, he did not wait for our answers, and completed his question himself. then he said,-
"it seems like you girls are not studying in school! i hope you girls wont play around here cause' i wont hesitate to take action against all of you."
HUH?!
what do you mean by that? what do you mean WE did not know the answers? you just bloody hell answered them yourself! never mind about the questions. but he should NOT said that we were there to PLAY!
we were there to learn, mind your mouth. fter this briefing, everybody was quite pissed off.
sometimes, when you joined a society, you have to sopend time with them for a period of time before you know what kind of people they are right? this place, it immediately showed us that they LOOKED DOWN ON ITE STUDENTS.
look at the way they talk to us during the first minute we were there. SUCKED.
Day 2.
teacher came. she was nagging and nagging as usual in front of our clients. that Steven came to brief us again. wow. its so obvious he was tying very hard to act nice and welcome in front of teacher lar. too bad, mrs lim wasn't with us all the time. if not, heh heh heh.
* fast forward* Day4
there was this woman, called Sister Fong. once the minute she saw us,
" oi you! come over here!"
OI CHEEBYE. who you think you are? in the first place, you should greet us, then introduce yourself then assign us. YOU bloody saw us and commanded.
at first we didnt mind this bitch to be so rude. but during the day, we all saw how she acted! in front of us, scolded us, insulted us.
i remembered, me and syaz were in the lif with that bitch to transfer our clients to the 3rd floor. she asked, " so, what did you girls learnt so far in this place?"
before we could answer, she replied her own question. " i believe you all never learn anything. take so long to answer. "
you cheebye fatherfucker. you want us to reply you immediately har? we cannot think about what to tell you arh? its so fucking obvious this bitch is trying to ABUSE HER POWER AS A SISTER!
Last day.
we were having the end of new year celebration. our ah gongs and ah mahs bgathered in 1 circle and evetybody sang and dance. then, this old bitch, she went into the circle and shouted all ite students to GET OUT of the circle.
mind you. she used the word GET OUT. =( then, she and the other staffs happily inside, while we attended to the clients who wanted to go to the toilet.
KNNBCCB.
after the bloodied celebration, we all went for our breaks, then, we were ORDERED to clean the whole nursing home.
TAMADE.
then i said " WHAT?!"
its like so clear that i didnt wanna do that. but all ignored and said, " FASTER! SO SLOW! QUICKLY CLEAN THEM!"
then we took out the occupational equipment( we are not allowed to call them toys even though they look like toys. -__-!), and cleaned them all. then, after that, we were expected to get into the circle again cause' the ah gongs and ah mahs were exercising.
its like what a memorable vacation in the nursing home! we became very good maids or housewives! BUT, during the last day, everybody seems to be sooooo nice to us leh! then smile at us and all that. KNS! so FAKE!
never mind. but i really feel like writing a complain letter to the nursing home to talk about it. its soooooooooooo looking down on us!eh, at least we got the heart to learn ok? really. i condemn that place already.
anyway, weiliang got the 4th position in the scrambler competition! i dont really know what kinda competition is that lar. but i know he did himself very proud! well done! =DD
okok. going out liao. to marina to meet kaisin and then to orchard to meet her dream guy. haha. bye bye. =D
